Should i take hp-hop ?

im a 6th grader, kinda athletic, slim, and i know how to dance ballroom very well. im wondering if i should take hip-hop because it looks really cool. my parents always pick the opposite though. i wanted to do guitar mom chose piano. this time its my turn to choose. shoud i go for it? and how is a hip-hop dance class like? {i have kinect and dance central i kill my friends with my skill, so i might be good at it, also my parents arent proper strict meanys, they're caribbean and partiers! so i can dance crazy if i wanted too.}
