What other kind of elements of magical realism can I add to this story?
One day when Callie was looking through her grandmothers attic for some pictures for a school project. As she was rifling among the boxes she stumbled upon a box of old clothing. Callie wondered how she never came across this box before because she had been up here too many times to count and this big box was hard to miss. The clothes in the box were very old and looked like they hadn't been touched in year. So Callie turned on her selective hearing and then all was quite again to her. She lifted a gorgeous white ball gown out of the dress and was mesmerized. The whole gown was made of silk and looked like it was fit for a princess. It looked like it would fit her so Callie decided to try it on. It fit her like a glove. She began to dance around the room in it twirling round and round. When she finally stopped spinning she opened her eyes and found herself in the middle of a giant ballroom.. "Judy!" Hearing her grandmothers name she turned around and saw the most handsome man she had ever seen holding his hand out to her. He was dressed in a marine uniform, and his smile seemed to glow. So she took his hand and began to dance. They were dancing so fast their feet weren't even touching the ground anymore. Somehow she knew his name was John, so she knew he wasn't her grandfather which made her more intrigued to who he was.
