Has a 2D animated movie ever been converted into 3D?

I've been reading articles on Disney plan on converting Beauty and The Beast to 3D. I'm quite curious if and how they can do that. Beauty and The Beast is kind of a flat movie, and the ballroom scenes are the only ones that could be converted effectively.Has it been done before? A hand-drawn animated movie?
