How long does a funeral take?

The length of the funeral depends on which service they use, but plan on it being at least an hour long. If you don't think you have time to stay for the whole thing, you've got two options. 1) Sit at the back, and if your time runs short you can unobtrusively slip out, or 2) go to the funeral home and pay your respects to your co-worker, but leave before the service begins.
