Please help me with my friend?

OK so my friend i don't really know what his home life is like, but its not good. he's the youngest in his family 8th grade not the coolest guy in school but he is super nice and funny. he is my ballroom dance partner and that's the only time we really talk. but ballroom ended and now we don't talk that much. i'll say hi to him when i see him in the halls and stuff... i added him on FB and i was talking to him last night. he really seems to have a hard life. he was telling me he was really tired because he just got back from running away. i asked why was he running away and he said "Because my brothers are jerks and same with my dad" that made me really sad. he was talking about the longest he ran was from 9am to midnight and he runs often. i really want to help him. i was telling him that he shouldn't do things like that. but then i had to go. What can i do to help him? PLEASE help!
