Im a petite 30 year old female that wants 2 b a competitive ballroom dancer.Is it 2 late? how do i begin?

I have never taken ballroom b4. I'm n the eastbay area of CA. Any info will help On what I can do. Eventually I want 2 become a dance teacher. First I want 2 b a competitive dancer.
